If you haven't been watching the Cinemax's new show, "Strike Back," then you've been missing out on a ton of secret-operative action. If you're a fan of "24," then think of "Strike Back" as its more violent, sexier cousin.
In case you haven't been following all of the action, here's a short recap of the premise.
The series follows Section 20, an elite military black ops unit within the British government that focuses on high-risk, top-priority targets--including an international group of terrorists.
And this week Section 20 is after a brutal militia leader named Tahir, played by Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje -- who "Lost" fans may know as Mr. Eko -- and he plays the twisted villan quite perfectly.
In tonight's episode, Section 20's effort to track Latif’s (Jimi Mistry) weapons supplier, which leads them to Gerald Crawford (Iain Glen), a former British Royal Marine turned arms dealer, who agrees to help them only if they rescue his daughter Clare (Laura Haddock), an aid worker in the Sudan who is being held for ransom by a brutal militia leader Tahir (Adewale).
The team reluctantly works with a questionable government official as a middleman to set up the exchange, but at the exchange point, Tahir has a different idea of doing the deal -- "in good faith."
Watch the exclusive clip of tonight's episode below. Catch all of the Adewale action tonight (Sept. 16) at 10 p.m. EST on Cinemax.
