Fed-up Irish music store introduces "Strictly NO Adele" policy

Adele

WANNABE Adeles were not welcome at a Dublin music store after staff officially banned customers from playing the British soul singer's hit Someone Like You.
Despite being the best selling single of the year so far, one music store has heard more than enough of the favourite ballad.
Workers at the Opus ii musical instrument supplier were so sick of hearing people try to play the ballad on their pianos and keyboards that they put a "Strictly NO Adele" sign up in the window.
"It's become the piano equivalent of [Led Zeppelin's] Stairway To Heaven, everyone thinks they can play it," an Opus ii shop employee told The Independent newspaper. "The sign was a bit of a joke, but the song can drive you mad."
The Irish store already banned Beethoven's Fur Elise and anything by Michael Nyman, who wrote the soundtrack for the 1983 movie The Piano.
