One Direction aren't allowed to turn on Christmas lights

One Direction aren't allowed to turn on Christmas lightsIt looks like all hopes of getting a Christmas kiss from one of the One Direction boys at a Christmas light display this year are going to be dashed. Oh no!
The boy’s first single, What Makes You Beautiful, is currently number one and has seen the boys receive an overwhelming amount of offers, including switching on Christmas lights. But because of fears surrounding the boy band’s safety at such events they will not be the star attraction this festive season.
A source told the Sun that, “Every city wants One Direction to turn on their Christmas lights. It's a family-orientated occasion so the boyband fit the bill perfectly. But due to the sheer volume of fans who make their way to these events, security costs would be sky high.”
It seems that 1D fans just can’t get enough of the boys. A recent visit to Radio One’s Great Portland Street studio had to be relocated to a new, secret location due to fears of the boys safety after hoards of screaming fans turned up to catch a glimpse of them.
Zayn took to twitter after the interview to apologise to the crowd outside Radio One saying, “Just heard guys were not coming down now sorry for evryone that's waited outside xx”
