No, he wasn't following in the Fonz's footsteps and getting an OBE. Alex Reidhas taken his girlfriend Chantelle Houghtondown to Stone Henge so she can watch him be knighted a druid.
It has been reported that cage fighter Alex has been knighted into the Ancient Order Of Druids, and his lovely lady was there to witness the event.
Returning to the place where he first went to find solace after his bitter split from former model turned businesswoman Katie Price, Alex donned a hooded robe as a bearded man ordained him with a sword.
Now that the ceremony has taken place, Alex is free to join other druids and will be taking part in meditation, rituals and learn basic solar and lunar knowledge. It sounds as though someone is describing a dream! Alex hinted at the ceremony by tweeting,
'Meeting King Arthur today & being Knighted! Hmmm, just another day at the office in Reid Land,'
Well we're glad that gentle giant Alex has found a past time that'll ease the tension from his big bulky shoulders.
