Beyonce is NOT taking maternity leave: 'Pregnancy is not an illness!'

In case you didn’t know, Beyonce has a bun in the oven. And if you didn’t know this, just how did you manage that? She just won’t stop talking about the bloomin’ womb lodger!

Today’s subject is maternity leave. Bey will not be taking it! She reckons she won’t need it (don’t count your chickens dear!). It seems this pregnancy lark is just a breeze for Miss Knowles:

Speaking to Associated Press the star said: "When you are excited about something, you don't have to think about your energy, it is natural and comes from adrenaline." Yes, but what about when the adrenaline is replaced by night feeds and zero sleep?

Nonetheless he continued: "It is important that I don't look at this like an illness. I am not sick. I am the same woman and I have the same passions."

We are not 100% sure what she is on about, but we think this means she wants to do her singing and have her baby all at the same time. We just hope this is possible!

Seems so far so good, as Beyonce spent the week keeping very busy promoting her new perfume and clothing range and attending lots of parties in some very gorgeous dresses.

Remember, this is work for her, it’s not quite coal mining is it? Maybe she will be ok after all.

Yep, B is getting close to becoming one of those mother-to-be types that only want to talk about dummies and breast feeding when all we really want is a chat about One Direction with a nice glass of Pinot.

Yeah, yeah we know it’s wonderful, beautiful news, the coming of new life etc but it’s not the most exciting gossip ever, right?

Speaking at Fashion Week (which only super cool people are invited to), Bey gushed about just how much fun she is having with her bun in the oven:

"I am having so much fun, it has been the most fun time now that it has been announced, it was really difficult to conceal” Quite literally, we imagine “But now... I can be proud and excited about it, I'm having so much fun shopping - it's great!"

Then rather conveniently added how her fashion label will be bringing out a maternity line just in time for the birth: "it actually is really good for the maternity...we do have some things that I am still trying to rock!"

Bit like a walking, talking, pregnant fashion billboard then?

Meanwhile, Beyonce is keeping schtum about the sex of the baby were are calling Bey-Z saying how she doesn’t know yet whether to buy pink or blue baby clothes.
