LeAnn Rimes is putting it all on the table -- talking openly about her affair with now-husband Eddie Cibrian and rumors she has an eating disorder.
"It's definitely been hard to see tons of lies written about a situation that people don’t necessarily know the truth," Rimes says in a sit down with Ellen DeGeneres.
"Obviously we made decisions that were not necessarily the right ones but it obviously brought us to the place where we are now," she says of getting together with Eddie when both of them were married to other people.
"The way we handled it, I will always say, it could’ve been handled a lot better but maybe we both didn’t have the tools at the time to do it properly," she adds. "Obviously we all make choices that lead us into.. a different path here and there and you learn from those or you don’t."
Of life now she says, "I think we have both come to a really good place in our lives. And, right now, I’m really at peace."
Of course, it's not all sunshine and rainbows for Rimes -- because the public scrutiny on her weight is takes its toll.
When asked if she was anorexic or bulimic by Ellen, Rimes says "No, I am not but I do feel like the press… they’ve been very irresponsible calling a lot of people, fat or anorexic or bulimic or whatever It may be."
"These are diseases and using them as name calling. It’s almost bullying. I feel a sense of responsibility for the people that are actually going through these diseases and I’m not one of them."
